That One Part

I’ve noticed I’m the kind of person who buys a movie because I pass it in the store and remember this one great part in the movie that made me love the movie, pick it up, and buy it. All it takes is for me to remember that one great part. I mean yeah I’m not going to buy a $20 movie just because I liked one part but anything under $10 definitely. Especially if it’s marked at a luring price such as $7.99 or the best one $5. How you could pass up a $5 movie? I know I can’t.

Take for instance Becoming Jane with Anne Hathaway and James McAvoy. It didn’t get rave reviews or even last in the theaters that long but after renting it and watching it once I knew I had to get it. About half way through the movie there is a scene that made the movie a must have. After trying to deny her feeling for a man she knows she shouldn’t have feeling for Jane can’t help but be ecstatic when he cuts in to be her dancing partner. The emotion she shows at that moment made me realize I had to get that movie. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone looking for a romance without the typical ending.

Another movie like this is Wanted starring Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy. It’s just a coincidence that James McAvoy is in both of these movies. Like I mentioned in an earlier blog I see movies sometimes for the actors that star in them. The special effects throughout the whole movie, Wanted, are fantastic but the one point that I knew I wanted to buy the movie is a great special effects scene at the end. I won’t say exactly what part because I don’t want to give away any end plot points but this was amazing. I would definitely recommend this action packed movie to anyone looking for adventure.
